I worked as a co-op intern at WDG Architecture in Washington, DC, for two quarters, in the spring and fall of 2007. I participated in the design development and computer modeling of the trellis design shown. I also designed the landscape for an office complex in Cairo, which is depicted here. I created the color plan using AutoCAD and Photoshop. My activities and responsibilities at WDG included AutoCAD drawing, SketchUp modeling, landscape design, design and construction of materials and presentation boards, correspondence with manufacturers, materials research and selection, and design of construction details.
