In the process of designing the Cranbrook Spa project, I worked with three separate partners to produce analytique studies of three architects and architecture firms. The results of this study greatly influenced my design for the Cranbrook Spa. We first studied Carme Pinós and Enric Miralles's approach to the site. Next, we investigated the volumetric strategies of MVRDV. Lastly, we looked at Sigurd Lewerentz's detail work.
